TABOO

Ever since the day I embraced my feelings for you
I listen to the stillness of my heart in the dark under the moon
Couldn't find a cure for a heart in dissolute
I couldn't stay away even if I had tried to
I waited in the rain for sunshine to lite up my fear
Of losing someone so precious and very rare
I will leave my emotions buried in a tombstone
In a world I can't find you, it’s no use wandering alone
I was told the worlds beautiful, but I wish it's not true
It's a taboo where I am from not to fall in love with someone special as you
The gods would be grieved, for they gave me their blessing
At birth and the moment I met you a fortnight
I wish I don't experience the feeling of losing you inside
Do you realize you mean more than the world and everything to me?
It's only you if someday I fall can catch me
Not the wish I asked for, but having you is so much more
A taboo will it be, if you are not part of my life
