WALKING AWAY

I am walking away from losing my head
From all the problems of the world
If all she bears is pain and sorrow
There is no need to seek tomorrow

Though man is destined an angel on earth
But the sins of the world is resentfully dread
The purpose of life is neglected and tarnished
Souls are lost; death's lying by the ridge

Evil is in the mind and lust planted in the heart
Thrive and war, the moon deprived of her joy at night
The world today is not made right
Love's forsaken the day man sold and lost his birthright

A MESSAGE OF PEACE

Take a message of peace to the world
To the rebels fighting in the forest
To villages and communities killing one another
To soldiers on the battle field fighting a war

To a father abusing his wife and children
To the man suffering, thinking of taking a gun to rob
To the woman on the street hustling for money
To a brother and sister keeping grudge

To the pastor on the pulpit leading the congregation
To the prophet preaching about jihad
To everyone on the street and in our homes
To little children whom someday, we’ll  be counting on

LOST IN THE WILDERNESS

I am wandering in the wilderness call life
Weary without shelter to ease the burden in my heart
Over the sea I found water, but it couldn't quench my thirst
I stood underneath the tree, but couldn't find comfort
So I kept on wandering all the days of my life

From heaven a voice said son, stop looking down on man
Go quench your thirst on the pool side is what God command
There is a stream of life flowing through the earth
It’s the man who seeks salvation, shall it be found
God can save you today, for His glory is at hand
