ORPHAN

I have no food to feed
No friends to play with
I have got no cloths to put on
No one I could look up to

I have got no brother, no sister
No stories to tell of my own
No holidays or birthday gifts
I don't know what it means to be hugged

I have no father to share my dreams with
No mother to show me how to love
I don't have a family to call my own
I don't have a home, I am an orphan

SINCE I MET YOU

Since I met you in November
It is the same scene over and over
The script never seem to play right
You are derailed and out of character

Like a disk broken and faulty to play
I could never get the best of you to stay
Every time I tried to communicate
The distance between us excavate

I have been to hell and back
Holding back awful tears for things to be alright
You stole a beautiful and caring heart
Left her laying on the dusty floor in the dark

Life with you brings pain and sorrow
No one could ever get you to see tomorrow
A home is complete when she is adored
Conciliation of two hearts conjured

Wish we can say goodbye to the past
Let love open a new door in your heart
Where you can see a new sky
A life with so much more to buy

Can you hold me?
My heart is flowing down the river
Searching for a home
No more falling stars

The height of life
Is stroked at her peak
Fading endlessly through time
An unsalvageable dented world

I SEE THE LIGHT

I see the light
Shine away my pain and sorrow
It takes me higher up to the sky
Gave me a smile when the world is sad

I see the light
Burning into my troubled soul
It gives me a joyful song to heed
A reason ever, never to weep

I see the light
It takes away my awful past
Gave me a brand new start
Of a meaningful life

I see the light
Give peace to a broken hearten
Turn around the fate of the hopeless
Take away the burden of the world

I see the light
The eyes of the blind it redeemed
To behold the richness of His glory
Both heaven and earth within

I see the light
It leads me to the promised land
Guide my footsteps so I wouldn't fall
In the future, help me stand up tall
