Last night I was walking down the street
A dress caught my eyes, she looks so good in you
I smiled all the way to the day we first met
Was raining heavily, had an obligation to rescue you

As you crossed the street, my heart followed you
I could have afford a cup of coffee
But there was no coffee shop on the street I knew
I could only offered companionship, for the night to be graceful

I was running late to a concert
But never knew that night I'll bump into you
When you told me your name was Jossette
Right away in my heart I fell in with you
Its always amazing to remember
How I thought you were in danger
But my heart got rescued instead by you
Oh, how I wish life will be all around September

So I can keep running into you
What a feeling always good to remember
How beautiful the night we fell in love
I am forever not lonely, all because of you

Life is but a blank page

Write on your page a story

So the world would acknowledge thee

Let your words be read from east to west

Lift your glory as high as the sky

And as the arising of the sun in the morning

Only you can best tell your story

Each paragraph filled with memories

Each words with and positive thoughts

Pages of a book are meanings if left scanty

Indecision can no longer be tolerated

Neither does procrastination and regrets

Today, I will fill my pages with sweat

Engraved, uncompromisable and untainted

The life given to us is a blank page

Heading home from a long day

The future dark and blur

You've got to let go the past

Wait for the moment the sun is cast

One can find pebbles close to the sea

When you dream, success is close at hand

The height of life can't be measured

Every second running need be treasured

Cast your doubts and fear into the river

Let it sink deep, like your worries you need not bother

The clock stop ticking only when you give up hope

It takes courage the challenges of life to cope

If you look up to the sky and its blank

Write your dreams on the wall bold enough to flank

Don't be intimidated, fate on your hand you can change

You can shoot the sky and measure the range

Until man is submerged

In the earth on his mother's womb
Breath with a re-subtle mind
Constrain from hatred

Until lust for power, selfishness and pride
Which once reside in man's heart
Purged of indifference concealed
And rooted in temperance once meek

Until stone and torn fades
Gratitude embraced in one another
Evil lost and cast out of our mist
The sun reflecting our dream at ease

Until ashes and dust the soul reclaim
Man embraced sweetness of a mothers milk
Cuddled in the heritage of his father
Man will not be born again

Is a life out of control
This gives the feeling a chill
Every minute time is lost

Can't grab hold to ambition
The future further out of reach
Joggled and fragile to subdue
Every second, destiny dangles

Lost in a world of imperfection
Dragged out of self will
Whispers of ages down the drain
Emotions lost and constrained

Helpless and weak is the mind
Confused of insanity and doubt
Cloudy it seems a long day
Life at the peak of a compromised day

When you look at the world
Are you satisfied with what you see?
What efforts have you made?
For the world to become better

Children are kidnapped, daughters rapped

Mother abused, father killed on the battle field
Disasters wiping the world away
Famine eating lives each day

Churches have their birthright sold
Man lost God's purpose for his soul
Are you just going to sit by and watch
Or lend a helping hand to a brother up

Do you believe in the power of love?
It can a life shattered revive
It can build a bridge that hold all our dreams
It can set a heart broken and bound free

MY CALABASH

My calabash is filled with hope

Pure, carrying the wisdom my ancestors

The villagers might not believe in me

Yet we all walk on the sand with sanders

No one knows where the stream flows from

Yet it never runs dry as she flows down the valley

The sun may set in the morning from the east

It may rain heavily today down the south

It never stops a child from dreaming

I hold my calabash with expectations in my head

To fulfill the desire of a weary heart

Laugh at me if that's all you care

I will drink on behalf of you my foe

While you watch the stars Carrying my dreams

Someday I will sweep away the doubts in your mind

I will ask the birds to sing to your past

The gods to put on you, a garment is worn of pride

My calabash holds not just my dreams

But dreams of every soul lost or cast

The storm came calling

Life tossed and turn
