TOMORROW

What shall be? When the future comes home
Shall my dreams lie like corals?
Or will they breath from an aching heart?
I feel lost because the sun shines so dim

The earth bows to my dreams
Latent at the tip of my pen
Reverse is the case for the eyes of men
Like sea waves, life pushes my dreams

From the climax to footpaths
Yet I pick the fragile dreams
And mold them to taller ones
Against the gale pushing shafts in the wind

Now the sweet scent of brighter days
Is tortured by the gloomy rays
That has fallen on earth
And punctured my breath

What shall I do?
Now that my heart awaits tomorrow
What shall I do?
When my water is tasty too

My feet grab earth and its mud
Awaiting the chariots with tomorrow's sword
Tomorrow's moon is darker than its father
What shall I do? For my eyes to see you

FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN

There is fire on the mountain
We've got nowhere to run
All around the world lives are destroyed
In the news, it hurts my heart to bleed

For little children going through such misery in tender age
Hope, joy and happiness, laughter and love caged
Families are deserted and left shattered across the world
The hill is high, can't seek solace or a remedy found

In my heart, I have cried many tears
But no one in the world out there cares
The world is preoccupied in looting of wealth
Dreams are destroyed, wasted or laying dead on the street

It’s so confusing, as a kid I thought only the sun could bring such heat
There is no bed to lay the head for the night to rest
Across the sea, all that’s left of life is blur
May God help us cleanse this menace as done before

Wipe away man from cruelty and hate hovering in his heart
Send down rain to wash away our pain, tears and regret
Maybe we can live again together in a world with peace
And plant in our hearts, trees, flowers and roses

ON ANGEL'S WING

Last night, I said a prayer for you
I asked for all the good things to come your way
Love, care, wisdom, favors and joy
I asked God to cover the sky with His grace over you
Blessings unbound, richness beyond imagination
I also prayed and asked God to comfort you
An angel smiled and told me it’s already taken care off
God is fond of you, which is why you're beautiful
