UNSEASONED FLOWER

 Like an unseasoned flower
Your love entrapped my heart
Always a friend to hug
Blossom across the world

Fragrance of your smile
Light the world near and far
The earth dance to be rooted
In your beauty oh divine

The wind pickles the fruits you bear
Through time and memories
Emotion from a heart so rare
Breath in me everlasting care

WAITED IN THE RAIN

We waited in the rain oh beloved Nigeria

To cleanse the evil deeds off our streets

Hearts are soaked with a refreshed hope

As we patiently stand hoping for a change

Emotions dabbles in deceits and betrayers

Conscious of the ambition of the next man

Conscious of is dreams crawling deep down his heart

For every man in life has a destination

Only time can restrain his will

Pouring down wishes from the sky

We wait for a change to heal our burdens

Until homes are filled with joy and hopefulness

Of the glory once resting on our pillow

The pride that once reside among our tribes

The prestige we wore flying our nation's flag

As does yesterday not in vain

CASKET OF ROSES

World, a virgin conceived
Blessed with love and a good heart
She became yet unsatisfied
And wandered deep into the dark

She seeks retribution for an unappreciated heart
Her beauty sold into sin and slavery
If the world should die today
Will she be buried in a casket made of roses?
