THE FUTURE

Man Thinks And Wonder
What’s Going To Happen
Today, Tomorrow Or The Day After
But Can't Come Up With A Definite Answer
Though Man Predicts And Anticipate
On Plans Against The Next Day
Unaware What Tomorrow Might Bring
However This May Be
He Is Content With His Plans
Since There’s Life
There’s Always A Hope
That Things Will Come To Be Better
Even If There is Doubts That It Wouldn't

Many Have Worked Hard
Towards The Future
Trying To Catch a Glimpse of What It Holds
But Have All Come Short Of It
By Death Or Psychological Reasons
Though The Future Holds A Lot For Us
But Are We Really Going To See
What Is It, It Holds?
Or Are We Still Going To Be
Contemplating And Anticipating On It?
However This My Be
The Future Will Still Remain Untold
A My
stery That Will Never Be Known
How I Wish The Future Can Be Reviewed

LIFE

As I sat down, I close my eyes and try to feel the world
I remember how I cried when been conceived into this world
I wept with joy that I was free for what I had no idea about
I had all one could ever thing of… love, care and support
But all this seems like a mere imagination
Nothing seems to be working out as earlier anticipated
I content myself when I look at life around me
I see people that are wealthy some with problems within
Some having men of the underworld as guest
Taking all their life expense within a twinkling of an eye
I see an average man having only what keeps him and his family alive
They are content with what they have even if it’s not enough
Praying that someday the sun will shine again
I see a poor man with no hope of having anything except the cloth he is putting on
If he can have a sound square meal for the day, life business goes on
He eats whatever he sees and believes as long as there is life
That there will always be hope for a better tomorrow
An insane man had the world to himself
He’s not bothered about what happens around him
He accepts whatever he feels or sees and he is the happiest of all man

I thought of man’s real purpose in life
Because no matter how hard we work or how rich or poor we are
We are going to pass by this world but once
And leave all what we have struggled for eternity
But what then is life really about I keep wondering?
Now I see its earthly meaning doesn’t count
Since we all are strangers in a strange world
But we have been assured of eternal rest after death
With Christ Jesus who is above in the heavens
Where there is no pain, struggling, hardship, hatred and death
Where only our decisions and motives can put things right
But it will only be in our heart and soul that life will still go on
That is putting our treasures where it is really worth
With God our author who is the beginner and the finisher of our fate

NIGERIA – OUR FATE AT GOLDEN JUBILEE

Minds drown with worries
People refuge in miseries not obvious
Trouble on every side and perplex situations
Men living different lives
All putting on anxious faces
Cause while sitting
Life passes by so fast and abrupt
Pedestrian all over the place
Neatly dressed but disdain
Anticipations on minds still optimistic
Jobs becomes gods
Highly connected to have an acquaintance
Exclusive cars, mansions array everywhere
But wealth seems an unachievable imagination
Suffering inevitable among men
Churches filled with worried prayers and wishes
Mild smiles on faces
Hoping one day the sun will shine again
Ambitions are held hostage
Despair walks among men
A country filled with rubies
Now seems unbearable to live in
Life like marriage
Becomes better for worse till death situation
But better altered and worse progresses
And fate held on every man's hand
