THE NATION'S PRIDE

 We are the nation's pride
In the heart forged the heritage of our forefather
Diverse in religion, culture and tradition
Wearing courage, peace, love and dignity
As we salute the bold sacrifices our ancestors made
On the bridge, fate, progress and unity sustained
The tears of our mothers, heals the land beyond the sea
Conceived, is the dream and inspiration of a brighter day
As we carry the nation's flag abound, both near and afar
Show the world we are the seeds of our nation's pride

BREAK MY HEART

Break my heart but don’t throw her away

She is fragile and can't survive that much pain

All she ever did was to love you as deserved

She isn't selfish for her love for you wasn't blind

The storm came all over my heart the day I met you

I thought it would rain that day but the sun was bright

I was wearing the smile of pauper in love with a prince

I couldn't afford a ruby so I gave away my heart for free

You can break my heart but please don't treat me for a slave

I never asked for a favor from you but feelings that’s genuine

Today may be young and tomorrow without a sun

If you don't appreciate my feelings, don't throw her away

LIFE

In bricks painted in different faces
Life appears
From mere tadpoles to skulls with woven threads

The bruised dreams spit scarlet tears
From memories of sour days
My tears, a lonely river
Deserted by the handkerchiefs of earth
The sun, at its throne
Burning our feet with smoking mud
The crumb left of life
Is a feast to our death betrothed throats

Man seeks a pathway
And rest on the shoulders of time
The earth gone deaf
But hungry for our carcasses
Silence, the meal of a tongue in grief
Soul in solitude
Blameless, the crow of lingering faith
