PRISONER

Beneath the heart of broken shells
Lies a prisoner
With thoughts tied to fetters
Of man downcast with life of an outcast
I am here trickling the earth's ear
To lend an open ear

Beneath the smiles
Kissing the cheeks
Lies a prisoner
Tormented by the throne
Deprived the air
Of a golden scent

 And pushed to the dust
Where soles kiss and spat
Let the earth unzip its ears
And bear my thoughts
Those of a prisoner
With sagged trousers and dreams

The street is my abode
A slum with pride
Home to hearts
Tied to chains of agony
Destiny snores in my dreams
Here I march on tattered shoes
Scrubbing the streets with my broken heels
Till my life is free like birds in the wild

WATER RUN DOWN MY EYES

In memory of victims lost due to the recent Nepal earthquake.....

Water run down my eyes and tears fills the sky
Life losses all meaning, the heart felt like she would die
The world is left homeless as tide took away her smile
I couldn't bear the world mourning and seeing the morning cry

Thousands are devastated, hearts are broken, fate stolen
Casualties’ every day of natural disaster in a world perishing
Hopes are tossed away, memories of joy drain
Searching for love and happiness of a brighter life regain

Share a minute of silence for all the souls taken away
As we keep praying in our hearts for a better world each day
Let our sorrows reaches heaven's gate until God tarry on earth is grace
For man is edging into extinction as the world deteriorates

THE NATION'S PRIDE

 We are the nation's pride
In the heart forged the heritage of our forefather
Diverse in religion, culture and tradition
Wearing courage, peace, love and dignity
As we salute the bold sacrifices our ancestors made
On the bridge, fate, progress and unity sustained
The tears of our mothers, heals the land beyond the sea
Conceived, is the dream and inspiration of a brighter day
As we carry the nation's flag abound, both near and afar
Show the world we are the seeds of our nation's pride
