I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS

I never choose to beg on the street

But the world became greedy

Life selfish, impatient and demanding

And made me a victim deprived of the necessity of life

I asked God if my sins are immeasurable

That I have to suffer all my life

Come rain, sun shine and harmattan

Hope's clinging on arms vouched

I can't take this no more

This is not the life I asked for in my mother's womb

Life is at the verge of deteriorating

I can only seek and hope to feed from crumbs

The world sees me cursed for the sins of my forefathers

But why am I the one paying the price?

Don't I deserve a decent life like others?

A life not lived in thrash

PRAISE THE LORD

Praise the Lord oh he saints

For ever, let thy lips sing Him praise

For all the wonderful blessings

So huge the heart can't contain

Every where we go, He keeps blessing us

More than we can asked for because He cares

We're will shout out loud till the world marvels

We're will sing praises until the earth stumbles

And give way to joy immeasurable

It's so sweet been in the presence of God

We can only rejoice and praise His holy name

Appreciate the countless laughter He puts in our mouths

Praise the lord, praise the lord

He walks around every household

And fills the heart with everlasting smile

Of boundless joy which leaves the world bewild

Jesus watches your back because He cares

Life is hard, you are sad and want to give up hope

Call on Him, He is waiting for you to come home

When it rains, through the sun He will fill your heart with smile

He is the light of the world when the day is dark

Hold His hand and life will be alright

Your problem and pain on the cross He shed
