CAN YOU TEACH ME

Can you teach me to crawl?
Can you teach me to walk?
Can you teach me to run?
Can you teach me to love?
Can you teach me to be optimistic?
Can you teach me to be polite?
Can you teach me to responsible?
And can you teach me to honest?
Can you teach me to patient?
Can  you teach me to be obedient?
And can  you teach me to be faithful?

ALL WE ARE SAYING

All we are saying, we want equal right and justice
We don’t need promises of building our roads
We don’t need to sell our culture and tradition
We don’t need you to solve our crimes

You can’t give us what you don’t have
It’s enough you stole away our birthright
Now we have come to no compromise
Its time you take out your baggage

Our hearts are yearning to be upright
Give us back our dignity, give us back our pride
Give us back our brothers and sisters slaughtered overnight
Give us back the wealth you stole away to foreign land

All we are saying is to restore our nation
Back to the days, love, peace and harmony co-exist
Back in the time we where bond with integrity
Our children had a future, our lands where fertile

The sky filled with memories of joy and laughter
A land, bridges are built in unity of our forefather
All we are saying is to give us back our motherland

We want to cultivate and reap the fruit of our labor

NO PROMISES

I don't promise to be a heroine
That I can take away your pain
I don't promise to be a princess
That I will always make you smile

I don't promise to be perfect
That your heart wouldn't get broken
I don't promise to be romantic
That your emotion wouldn't get hurt

I don't promise to be a servant
To warm your feet when they are weak
I don't promise to be your ideal woman
That I can meet all your need

You've got to take me for who I am
Be patient and don't stop cuddling me
Hold me gently my imperfection
I could be an angel lost inside
