SITTING STAR

 



Oh sitting star, are you smiling at me? 
I noticed the way you are staring at me 
It must be because the night is beautiful 
Humming sweet words to you 

There is so much I can see in your eyes 
Blue as the sea where the evening lays 
It is a start of something real and magical
Like dancing in the cloud until the morning dew 

I can not phantom the way you are teasing me 
But I keep seeing you persistently in my dream 
I get the feeling this is going to last forever 
My emotion is sitting by the side of the river 

It looks like we have got a thing alike 
The way you smile gives my heart a spark 
Everything else got a chill around me 
Except close to you, where I love to be

UNBROKEN

At night the enemy came

Set up camp on the path to zion

They gather to set ambush

And plan to destroy me

But bestowed upon my hands, the master key

To unlock every bolted door on the way

Break every brass and iron gate

Walk harmlessly through the enemy’s camp

I stand upon the high mountains

Behold, His glory rest upon the land and sea

Captive broken free, death reprised

The night had no grip to life

In the storm, I found refuge

I match on with reassurance

Of resurrection and life

Anywhere He chooses to stand

I look down the south and up to the north

Cannot count the blessings

Any door opened by faith

Is never again shut

The moment I walked with God

Life became not the same

Every word He speaks

In my life is accomplished
