Dedicated to the victims of Omusu village, Ojigo Ward, Edumoga in Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state by suspected herdsmen

But they are not murderers 
In their sleep, why do they kill the villagers? 
They took up guns and cutlasses 
Maiming an adolescent in her mother’s arms

Cannot you see there is too much bloodshed? 
How long shall we keep sucking human blood? 
Who told you your acts will not be judged?
For the guilty ones also justice will bleed

Children are homeless, mothers are devastated 
Our fathers are afraid to step out on broad day light 
You ignorant fools, fighting someone else’s war 
Do not let it be too late before you shut the door

SITTING OUTSIDE

 

Lord, I am sitting outside
Lost without You
Drifting away from your confer
My world  is without the sun and moon

Life is restlessly demanding
Chocking and killing me
Every day I dine into sin
I need the recipe to salvation

Lord, I desperately need you
I am tired of living an awful life
The road only leads to destruction
There is no roof to shelter my dying soul

Lord, I am not worthy
The cloths I am putting on are dirty
My deeds has washed out your grace
I am walking with a heart that is empty

Forgive me father, for I have sinned
Please condemn me not
I placed my guilt before you
A destitute in heart seeking refuge

I WOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY

I would have walked away

But I cannot forget your smile

The way it makes my heart calm

Takes my worries away

When you held my hands

Like a kite, it lifts my feelings high

It gets me out of my mind

And I lose self-control

You know I could never let go

Your love brings warmth to my soul

Like a broken piano 
Without you I will be out of tune

Everything beautiful is not enough

To describe the content of thoughts of you

Before we met I was lonely

You turned my life completely around
