DOWN THE ROAD

Down the road I have been

I have been on the street where prostitution and crime is at peak

I have been in midst of villages in tribal war, not peace

I have hide underneath the rocks from rebels

I am a fugitive from a family whom bears hatred and greed

I have been jailed in prison fighting for what I believe in

I have starved in the jungle at the hands of the captives

I have been cast out of the community for defying the faults of the gods

I have lost my possession to the men of the underworld

I have been forsaken by brethren I thought believed in God's words

I have been betrayed by my brothers and sisters

I have been shot at and chased by the enemies

At night the demon seek my soul that's hidden in God's closet

I have been left on the wilderness to die for decade

But the spirit within me can't be weighed down

The world can never take away my dignity and pride

When I found myself down the road, I get back on my feet whenever I fall

For every man got to know I carry in me a vessel

Destined for greatness to achieve in full

LOOKING FOR A SONG

The heart is looking for a song to sing

A song not of regrets for a heart that's broken

A song not of forgotten promises made

A song not of death and mourning

A song not of betrayal and distrust

A song not of anguish and pain

But a song from a heart that's thankful and joyful

A song of victory for the oppressed

A song of the sea calm and blue

A song of the wind subtle and meek

A song of appreciation of the morning dew

A song which the heart every day is made anew

A song of God's presence in a heart bound to succeed

A song of breakthrough for a man whose hope's once denuded

And a song for a heart restored with an eternal smile

I DON'T

I don't know how to say I love you

For I keep breaking my promises

I asked myself a thousand reasons

But couldn't find the right answer why

I couldn't leave in a world without you, for a part of me will die

The clouds can't fill up the feelings I have for you

Without you the world anymore wouldn't be beautiful

A touch of you is spilled on every portion in my heart

I could feel my heart burning eternity for you inside

The roses you planted in my heart will always remain blue

If for a reason we live in a world without light

Your smile will light up my whole feelings inside

Like a stream my emotions can never run dry

I can never love anyone else as close to how much I love you

It doesn't matter how much I try not to, I will still be in love with you

I wish I can turn the hand of time right now

Kiss your lips till the flowers in my heart run wide

I can never make up for the joy you filled in my life

I can never love you back equally for your love is divine

But carve in my heart your name so you'll forever stay in my life
