MASQUERADE

Beautifully dressed in glamorous attire

Unethically putting the nation's in dire

Dancing to the tune of mischief and lust

Looting the nation's wealth at all cost

In disguise, seek to address the nation's crisis

With not a thought for the common masses

The nation's pride, deceptively sold to greed

The poor scrambling on the street to feed

Masquerade in there hundreds, killing the innocent everyday

Creatively deceiving one's mind and hearts lead astray

Smiling with pocket filled of betrayal and loathe

Dancing different tunes, but playing the same flute

The sky above, life is drifting

The night so shallow, dreams can't hold
I find a star where ever I go
She looks so pale, wishes unfold
I find myself walking around in circle
Couldn't hold a grip of life, yet I tried to
Wade off the nightmares running free
Hope came to rescue the day's will
