For the picture challenge
Can you show me a path
I seem to be lost in my heart
I don't know if I can find true love
But my feelings are burning up inside
The world is blur, but not in my dreams
I keep seeing your faces in my dreams
I wish the night stays up forever
So we can watch the moon and stars together

A LONESOME ROAD
Life on a lonesome road
Is deserted and crippled by awful deed
Its only thorns and weeds can find
Darkness and lost souls dammed
Life on a lonesome road
Scattered by emotions compromised
The heart no memories, for love's dead
Broken dreams blown away, to the wind it feed
Life on a lonesome road
Worst than seeking for bread
Washed away, like time and season off the sand
Dreadfully on a journey the world can’t tamed
Life on a lonesome road
Filled of feelings unresolved and unshared
Joy and happiness gracefully is unfold
To a heart and conscience treasured as gold

WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER
Wake up from your slumber and see the light
The reason things aren’t working is because you are not
putting up a fight
If you look up the sky but can't find a star
Wait a little longer; the night is not out of sight
From afar you can sense the joy that comes with a smile
The excitement in a heart missing someone dearly for a while
At the end of the field you can find a pathway
Life will always throw challenges your way
Don't just sit there weeping in dismay
Wake up; you've got a long day ahead of you
Success you can achieve, doesn't matter if the sky is not
blue
The one thing holding your ambition back, is you

I AM NOT A PROPHET
I am not a prophet, but only speaking my mind
If we keep on compromising our pride, the world will be
devastated
I have seen children neglected and suffering
Sisters rapped, mothers shedding tears, brothers on the
field dying
The church no longer a sanctuary, but an unholy refuge
Pastors and priests, hypocrites in converge
The corrupted run to her but are pardoned
The innocent seeks her aid but are rejected
Man walks among the earth with no mind and soul
Lust and greed, the heart and mind made whole
Fate held on every hand as man lost his faith in God
Conscience deteriorating everyday away from the will of God

IN SEARCH FOR A LEADER
In search for a leader that understands how the people feel
A leader with integrity, whose heart is pure as the stream
A leader that is steadfast and corruption free
A leader whose mind is calm and understands free will
A leader willing to go extra mile
A leader whose ambition is not dead but alive
A leader that can provide shelter when the storm comes
A leader who appreciate the people living a peaceful life
A leader without a reason to sell his birthright
A leader who accepts fault when his decisions are not right
A leader who sit amidst the people, bear their grievance and
pain
A leader seeking for service, a selfless service to humanity
without gain

A POEM FOR MAMA
Oh mama, what will I do without you?
How far would I have gone, if not for you?
You taught me how to walk and crawl
You taught me to stand up tall when I fall
You taught me there is no shame in failure
Every man need have something to fight for
You are the brightest of all the stars
You groomed me into a man under your wings
Fortunes and luxuries can’t match the sacrifices
The love, affection, care, support and tears
Through difficult times, you bleed for me
Thousands of miles, your words abide still with me
You taught me I could change the world
You believed in me, despite i was just a little boy
I would never lose a smile, if the world falls
You are made in heaven, the day the sun calls

CONVICTION
Do you need a reason to smile?
Do you need a reason to be happy?
Do you need a reason to be sad?
Do you need a reason to be angry?
Feelings only makes us human
Emotion sometimes get the best out of man
Why wait for a reason to express the mind
Feelings expressed sincerely are unharmed

QUARTER PASS THE MOON
Its quarter past the moon
The night silent for a moment
Dreams are crawling, hopes perishing
The wind's calming the night
But shadows of men are out of sight
Life seem cursed, hope the world survive
For life is weighing on a thin line
The moon profusely praying for man

NIGHT AND DAY
Night and day may not be the same
Forget about the worries, it will fade
You've got a life to live this day
Nothing but God can lead the heart a way
Feel the heartbeat and the beauty inside
Tomorrow is unknown yet we plan to survive
You are not walking in the dark alone
You are not fighting the battles in life alone
Hold on, time can't obstruct a man's destiny
God hasn't stopped walking with you and me
Wipe away the tears, its just a matter of time
One can spend life with God in prime
If in one's heart he can hold on to God's hand

UNDER THE CLOCK
Life is under the clock
Profound by the days outcome
Time running between the evening and morning
Every second, a reflect of life deprecating
Dream is deserted, the clock running free
The world is timid, shattered by war and greed
Under the clock life stood, every second running wide
If today the clock paused, the world will lose memory of
time

WHAT YOU SEEK
If you are looking for an answer
Search your heart, you will find it there
Everything you seek in life, she could help
She sees the world long before you
She knows what its like been scared
Sad, confused, lost, because she has been there
Take a moment, reflect and speak to the heart
The answer you seek is inside your heart

LEAN ON ME
Lean on me, I wouldn't let you fall
If you are weary, I will carry you on
You've got my shoulder to relay on
Through trouble time and temptation
Lean on me when you are not strong
I will be a friend if the world is gone
I will be your pillow to comfort you
Make you smile when the morning dew
Leon on me, if your heart is broken
And if for a reason your joy is stolen
I will lend a helping hand
Friends stick together till the end

SOMEONE HELP ME
Can someone help me before I lose my mind?
Can someone help me before I lose my wife and child?
Everyday and night on the street, it get my spirit high
Recklessly on the wheel, steering a heart blur and ready to
fly
Its destroying my future, my home, my marriage and my pride
Six years gone down the drain, holding too long to the past
that's died
I fell in love to liquor and life turned completely upside
down
I couldn't anymore find happiness, if I am today not high
Life is miserable, couldn't find a decent reason the heart
to sustain
I put my family through jeopardy, regrets, shame and also
pain
I got callous and couldn't faced my problems as a man
My wife is paying the faults of giving up her dream to be
with her man
I am so sorry I made my family cry, on my knees, I asked God
for a new start
I want to be a loving husband, who buys his wife flowers
that matches her heart
Take his family out and treat them like angels they deserved
Always there to care and leave in their heart a smile
forever bind
But my flesh is weak and weary to fight this foe
The heart is fragile and can't fight the urge to say no
Can someone help me before things get out of hand?
Can someone please help me, I need to get these misery out
of my mind?
