EVERY MORNING

Every morning I thank God for my life

I thank God for my limitations, it gives me the opportunity to grow

I thank God for my mistakes, it teaches me that am not perfect

I thank God for my shortcomings, they remind me that I am human

I thank God for all the pains I go through in life, it teaches me to be strong

I thank God for the challenges I face in life, it gives me the courage to fight on

I thank God for allowing the sun to shine on me

Each day He gives me another opportunity to set things right

I thank God for showing me love, it reminds me that I have a heart

I thank God for the hates, this teaches me how to forgive

I thank God for the salvation of the soul, it’s the only assurance to eternal life

I thank God for lifting heaven so high

So I can look up to Him to become who I am destined to be

WHO THE CAP FITS

     Why do we struggle and fight for leadership

The qualities of leading a nation cannot be bought

Silver nor gold, neither diamonds cannot make one become a viable leader

You've got to have the portraits inherent in you

You've got to be certain you deserve the right to be called a leader

Don't just buy your way through and think it’s okay

Your selfish ambitions are in the way of reality            

It's going to catch up with you some time in life

You've got to be proud of who you are and work hard to achieve your dreams

Living a false life will only be benefiting for a while

It can never get you all the achievements and success you are dreaming of in life

Look up the sky, you can't see beyond the clouds

That’s how the life you are living looks like deep down under

You can never understand or predict all your tomorrow

You will only succeed in misleading lives of the people who believed in you

What’s going to be, cannot be altered in our lives

No amount of injustice can stop the stars from shining

Be faithful and let your heart guide you

You've got to let down your guard

For once think about the people you want to lead

If truly you have their consent in heart

Your name will be written on the tombstone in men’s heart
And you will be exonerated above your expectations
Because it’s who the cap fits that can wear it

I HAVE A WONDERFUL FRIEND

I have a wonderful friend

He travels with me everywhere I go to

When am depressed, confused and in despair

He comforts me all through

When I am lost and looking for answers

He guides me and provides me answers

He is a friend that's forever faithful

Only he knows where my heart bleeds

I have never seen a friend so true and reliable

That can help and support a man in fulfilling his dreams

We are always together; I dare not get him of my sight

He is all and everything I need in a friend

He talks to me every day and tells me what to expect tomorrow

I am so lucky to find a friend so good to me

Someone who accepts me despite the imperfection in me

We will forever journey together, my bible and I
