CAN I BE THE ONE FOR YOU?

Can I be your anchor?

To keep your heart from drifting away

Can I be your sun?

To wipe away your tears when it rain

Can I be your umbrella?

To shade your burden when life is sunny

Can I be your paper?

So you can write down the things in your heart that makes you smile

Can I be your carpenter?

To design the furniture you need to make your life beautiful

Can I be the diamond in your life?

So you can look at me always with pride

Can I be your butler?

 I want to get you all the things you need in life

Can I be your companion?

And journey together with you through life

Can I be your cook?

To prepare you dishes from the recipe of my heart

Can I sit beside you to keep you company?

To be there for you to share in your dreams

Can I be the one for you?

 When you need someone to hold your hands on the alter

And help you take care of the kids

Can I be there for you?

 To take you somewhere far away

Where we can watch the sun smile all day

NEVER AGAIN

Never again will I say goodbye

Since you've been gone my heart is left ajar
I have for days traveled afar
But can't find what makes my heart smile
Just a thought of you makes the day sunny
Evening and morning each day may not be found
That’s how I have been since you've not been around
My heart is fragile; it's hanging on a string of thoughts of you
When you are around life is completely beautiful

Never again would I say goodbye
Nothing could afford to heal my heart if not you
I have been out searching for you
Every night I dream about you
The star and moon missed you too
For your love glow whenever they are around you
I will journey to mars and pluck you a scarlet rose
And plant for you a garden watered with kisses
To show how much I want to be again in your arms
For your care, love and affection I will long forever

A GRAVE MISTAKE

For a grave mistake I made
When I allowed my feelings got blown away
When you told me you loved me
It made the sun reflects in my eyes
I saw the future bright but got scared to make up my mind
It's been sandy the path you walked through for me
I could feel your loved from far down the creek
And also the love and the beauty of a sun flower
Wish I had not let my feelings down
I wouldn't today have nightmares in my sleep
For a grave mistake I made
The day I let my love for you slipped
