KISSED BY THE SUN

In my heart

I was desolate and thinking of you

It has been raining for days 

My feeling is cold without you

Wish you are here to conserve my heart

It is difficult spending the night alone

At noon, the day was glamorous

All I was thinking of is to be with you

I tried to comfort myself

But the feelings inside are blue

I greeted the sun while I went for a walk

He chuckles at me 

As he approached me on the sidewalk 

I was confused 

I did not intend to betray your trust

But while standing by the lawn today 

I was kissed by the sun

I had promised not to cheat on you

But I swear when he kissed me 

There was nothing I could do

IN THE EYES OF THE MOON

In the eyes of the moon

I see the calmness of the sea

I see beauty of the world as the night drift

The street dark with tiny crystal sparkling up to the sky

I can feel the whispers of the wind

Death and spirit resting by the chapel

I see life everywhere and can sense love from afar

I see traffic on the bridge and hear the baby crying in the dark

I see it raining in Africa and the crop waiting for the sun

I see a ship sailing through the pacific from dusk to dawn

I see family praying and thankful to God for a graceful day

I see the flowers in the garden and a dog baking in the park

I see a couple walking home holding hands

I see the evening fading away,

My eyes deemed after a night long awake

For in my heart I treasure the world God created

And giving me eyes it beauty to see

In the shadow of your wing I am protected

A place where the burden of the world can't breach

A place where there is no illness or death

A place where everyone is happy and no regret

The condemned run into your fortress and his pardon

For you give man joy where hope is abandon

In the shadow of your wing I am protected

There is fullness of joy, salvation and love

A place I can find peace, relief and kindness

There are no hindrances, failures or sadness

For all the things of this world your glory can't surpass

In the shadow of your wing I am protected

Enemies all around me my success they can't suppress

If it's raining heavily in my life, there is a place my burden can be ease

Ashes and hell cannot contain my joy

For if the world slip, I shall not fall

In your presence forever I will rejoice
