CONVICTED

Life has been cruel the past few years

I have been convicted of almost everything I care

Convicted for loving my parents, brothers, sisters and neighbors

Convicted for been kind to everyone around me

Convicted for been poor because I can't afford the good things in life

Convicted for becoming successful and blessed in life

Convicted for living a godly life, and for depriving oneself from the things of the world

Convicted for dropping out of college and for not been able to get a job

I am convicted for been afraid to love, because my heart has been betrayed before

Convicted for speaking in the public about corrupt leaders in our society

Convicted for expressing my opinion about the things I am not happy with

Every way I am a victim in all aspect of  life

I am convicted because I couldn't fight for the things believed in

And can't do anything about life and society I am living in

A PERFECT MAN

Searching for a perfect man

A soul to love when I am far from home

When I look through life's window

I see him smiling and waving back at me

At night he leaves me joy that last the morning

The sky is blue where ever he takes me to

His eye is as beautiful as is voice of an angel

He got that grip that tells he would never let me fall

His kiss is of diamond I see through him all that's need to know

He doesn't speak much for his affection and love tells it all

I met him on a raining night, he rescued my heart

He carved in his heart my name and in my heart I did the same

A perfect man I found and ever since life is not the same

I DON'T WANT TO FALL IN LOVE

I don’t want to fall in love with you

But there is something about you so magical

Like the breath in me, you I can't do without

Beautiful thoughts about you I can't let out

Last night when I saw you in a picture smiling

It felt like the sun was shining in my heart

I took a long stare at you and the world paused before you

I tried so hard but can’t figure how God made you so beautiful

A friend once told me that pictures can be deceptive

But the way you smile is so real, it made my heart skips

You are as pure as the morning stream

So I made a wish in my heart for you to forever keep

I once promised my heart not to fall in love again

But since I met you, life is no longer the same

When I told my heart I am in love with you, he smiled and said me too

Now we are both fond of you, and there is nothing anyone can do

I don't want to fall in love with you

So I close my eyes and prayed for a miracle

I smiled for God told me you are my dream come true

You are now finally in my heart to forever stay

For I wouldn't stop thinking about you every single day
