JESUS LOVES ME

Jesus loves me, this I know

For the bible tells me so

He gave me eyes, His glory I see

He gave me lips his praises to sing

He gave me a heart and feelings meek

I can hug a loved one

Welcome in a stranger

I can walk freely all around the world

He gave me his words

So I wouldn’t be worried about the future

Like trying to measure the length of the sky

He loves me so much

That the enemies wonder why

He walks with me where ever I thread

My sins on the cross, He sacrificed and shed

Life today is filled with questions

Like why we sometimes cry

Why wickedness enveloped the world

Why do loved ones get to die

Jesus loves you too, this I know

He gave us the wonderful things in life for free

So someday you and I would replicate

Plant a tree into the heart of another soul

I am so glad that he saves me

My spirit in the grave it will not lay

Through the difficulties of life 

He is abundantly able to see us through

IF FRIENDS ARE STARS

The cloud in my heart will be filled

With memories and thoughts of someone special as you

I will be the richest man in the universe

My heart will be filled with billions of smiles

For my entire desire and  wish will come true

There will be no more nights in my life

My world will completely be occupied

I will save a wish for someone in need everyday

Men will not starve of love living a life surrounded by hate

I will take my glory above the sun

Till the droughts in man's heart are all gone

I will never have a reason to say goodbye

The beauty of life will not be out of reach

The sea will not be able to cover my joy

For I will be so excited and my days will be forever

I will be living in a world purged with scents of your love

I will be happy the rest of my days wearing so much hugs

WE COULD HAVE BEEN FRIENDS

We could have been friends all the way

But you let my feelings slipped away

Day and night I saved a prayer for you and me

I made wishes to the stars for our friendship to stay for eternity

I was willing to give to you all I've got

But my trust each day you made to rot

I have got joy in my heart to want to share my secrets with you

You seem to want to hurt me overtime, why, I don't have a clue

I notice the night is no longer smiling at me through the cloud

The trust I once had for you are now vogues and raucous

You made me doubt my own emotions

You let me fall when I needed a friend to hold my hands

I thought we were meant to forever be friends

I really hate the situation at hand, it’s so thin

For we could have been best of friends, you and me
