LOST CHILDREN

We are lost children

Scattered across the world

Under one big cloud

Same star, same moon and sun

The sea between us is shallow

It can't drown away our dreams

We share same heart that need be loved

And hope embedded that can't be lost

The door in the heart is left ajar

Wanting to be kept warm through the night

It's no coincident we met and fell in love

The sky can't be hidden from a dove

Does a heart seeking to be hugged

I MUST DANCE

I must dance while the music of life beats

Can't always achieve the things hoped for

It's a long journey from home to destiny

Had to dress the bed before I lay on it

There is no specific direction or pathway to life

Everyday fate I embraced with open arms

To wade away the guilt of an indecisive mind

Strife long overdue but the heart got to tag along

And harvest from sacrifices long made

For a man to be fulfilled and accomplished

Of a long journey away from home

I have wanted to pour my heart out to you

But for a reason I developed a cold feet

I have told my heart a lot about you

He knows I will be deluded without you

Sometimes I feel like a kid when am around you

Can you give me a pat on the back?

And tell me it’s okay, that you love me too

People may think I am going insane for you

Even with a bottle of vodka I will still be lucid for you

Am starving and need your love

I might not know the recipe to your heart

But know one thing is for sure

That I love you and need you to love me back

Distance doesn't change how I feel about you

I will call you a million times

I will send dozens of text messages to you

Buy you a rose if it will help to prove to you

That I love this much about you

Because I really do, I love you
