SEPTEMBER MORNING

Another early morning
When the birds are singing,
The wind calmed down
And the rain disappeared!

The majestic sun is rising
Bringing life to a new day
While I can feel in the air
Another season approaching!

The trees are motionless
And the surroundings look
Like changing by the hours
But it is just mid-September!

Many things come to my mind:
Joyful moments of the past
When you and I were
Tightly holding hands
While walking through
The well known Central Park!

Like innocent children,
We sat down on the ground
And happily played with
The colorful dried leaves
Of a very welcomed Fall,
A September morning I recall!

Broken but still living,

Broken but
still alive...
I'm alive, and still loving myself,
I love myself, don't judge
 me when you see me
 broken with a missing
 piece inside me,
Don't love me if you
don't like what you see.
I love me, so don't
 question my loyalty,
It don't matter if you
 see a key in me.
If you can't turn it,
then you can't turn me on,
You can try, but you
need to put your
love In all of this.
Please me, don't tease me,
 don't tell me your ready
 when you aren't
ready for this mess.
The mess i made,
are my mistakesAnd
 the mistakes
 I made You can
take it or leave it.
Cause I been left for dead,
I've been dead inside.
But I still know how to fight inside.

GIFT OF FRESH LEAVES

(A Plea Song for Leah Sharibu)

If Leah, is a gift of fresh leaves,
Please, give us this gift,
Before the soulless scorching sun,
Harvested by the grotesque hands
Of bosomless savage beasts,
Turns our dear gift of fresh leaves
Into a gift of dried leaves:

President Buhari, we beseech you;
Please gift us with Leah, and the others girl.
--------------------------------

Leah, is the young school girl, who (the so called) bokoharam is still holding in captivity, after releasing the other girls they 'kidnapped' alongside her in Dapchi, Yobe state Nigeria, just because she refused to renounce her christian faith -- and be converted to a muslim. Since February, 2018 -- more than 200 days now, Leah, is still in captivity...
