PUREST OF HEART

Lord help me
To have the purest of heart
The mind is a snare
Lusting after the things of life

I dine in sin daily
By compromising my faith
Your grace is sufficient for me
The flesh I wear is weak

She takes advantage of me
For an excuse of my trespasses
Because You are forgiven and kind
Doesn't permit self righteousness

I heard whispers in my sleep
My deeds will only bring about death
Both to the soul and spirit  
The heart and the body as a whole

I will be tormented within
Cast into the eternal flame
Help me to be of a clean heart
A heart seeking after your will

I want to be forgiven
To everyone whom have scorned me
Reproof to anger and hate
Reproof to pride and prejudice

Take my life and plant your words
On the fleshy table of my heart
At the end of this journey on earth
l seek to wear the purest of heart

THE JOURNEY OF LIFE

It is true what they say
The journey of life begins with a little step
From a toddler, I have grown
To attain the height of a purposeful man

Not because I am the strongest
Not because I am the smartest
Neither is it because I am special
But because I have a divine helping hand

He never gave up on me
Never judged my shortcomings
But gave me all the support I needed
Life for a moment was never out of place

As I lift up my eyes beyond the clouds
To God who have being sustaining me
Until I journey to my home beyond the sky
Know that I will forever be indebted

Today,  I pray that the joy I found
May it depart not from me and not from you
May the heavenly father light away every darkness
But plant in you a garden of His profound greatness

I believe in dreams
That true love is endless
But sometimes I am afraid
If I am good enough to have

The twilight of your smile
I can not take off my eyes
Hope I can give you true happiness
Someone to love you for nothing-less

Close your eyes and look into your heart
Hold my hands, let me walk you through the stars
I want your world to be bright forever
No miracles, just expressing the way I feel

The feelings I have for you is like rain drops
In your heart, it is going to fill the clouds
And wet the tender flowers
Just so your world becomes beautiful at sunrise
