A child deserves education
A child deserves to have a home 
He needs health care
Good clothes and shoes
And friends to play with
Not lavishing his life on the street
Shattered and without a dream
He should not be deprived of love
Almajiri deserved better life too
I wondered why in this modern age
We can not find an appropriate policy 
Protecting the rights of a Nigeria child
Instead he is punished for our misdeed

FALLING LEAF

I am afraid if you leave me
My heart will be broken
Like a fallen leaf from the tree
My emotion will wither and slowly die

Please tell me you will stay forever
I do not want to be sad the rest of my life
Without you, I feel my world is over
I will lost everything thought I  have

Sometimes in life we need to take cognisance 
The decisions we make that might affect others
I can be a better person if you give me a second chance
You deserve better, no need to stake your claims

Let nobody talk to you that I am off no good
We do not need to fight to prove you are right
If only you could smile, it is going to be alright
With you back in my hand, the world will turn around

THEY TOLD ME TO QUIT

They told me to quit

I do not have what it takes

To stand up to life demands

At first it seems I am losing my mind

Everything I touched, Cannot hold with time

All through life I am upright

Yet the world around me is falling apart

I am helpless watching from afar

It is alright, I hold no grudge against you

Despite you labeled me a fool

I should have saw these coming

Everything I learnt is a rip off

Hiding in a shell is not an option

Just have to finish what I started

It may not rain throughout the year

But I have to harvest a good crop
