A child deserves education
A child deserves to have a home
He needs health care
Good clothes and shoes
And friends to play with
Not lavishing his life on the street
Shattered and without a dream
He should not be deprived of love
Almajiri deserved better life too
I wondered why in this modern age
We can not find an appropriate policy
Protecting the rights of a Nigeria child
Instead he is punished for our misdeed
