I am so glad that Jesus loves me
When the enemies where behind me He patted the sea
When I was hungry and weary, He took care of me
When I was sick, He touched me and my body was healed
I am so glad that Jesus loves me
He taught me how to read the bible so heaven I can see
He gave me hope when the heart was weak and heavy laden
For the oppressed and poor prosecuted, His promise He has
not forsaken
I am so glad that Jesus loves me
He is just and kind, for all His riches He gave to the world
freely
On the cross He gave up is life so mine and yours wouldn't
be deprived
He is forever faithful and there for you, for in your heart
He can be found
I am so glad that Jesus loves me
He loves me, He loves you, and He loves you and me
If the world is crashing in your life tonight
Look up to him and He will surely make it right
I am so glad that Jesus loves me
He made the blind to see and fed the poor when they were
hungry
It’s a good thing to be close to Jesus
Every day on His knees, He is praying for us
