HALF OF THE SUN

Wish I can hold the sun in my hands
Squeeze it, may be the world will smile again
Under the cloud hopes are forsaken
Life is pegged, hanging on a fragile line

It's not just a wish of a child
Of a mother crying all night
Over the death of her only child
Maybe man is not destined to have breathe

Every night I watched a falling star
Lost her memories of the essence of life
Made by God's own hands
But bath in mud of wars and crimes

It's not raining anymore
The flower have lost her beauty
Love imprisoned and rotting away
A mere ecstatic shadow of yesteryear

Can't you see we are dying?
Yet you pretend you care
Why did you put the light out?
We now live fragment of a purposeful life

Tossed into the sea and forgotten
Sinking underneath is the guilt of unloved
Whom has murdered the future
Left with a land infertile and unfortified
