WHY DO YOU ASK?

Why do you ask what I seek?
Yet confided it is dead
Is it unfair to request to have a life?
Worth remembering in the afterlife

I knelt on the pew and earnestly prayed
For every blinded eyes to be opened
To witness the glory of a fulfilled life
Why it is worth every penny to first serve

Be a slave to pride
Wipe the dirt on the face of the homeless man
Spread love to the child in the orphanage
For the world need be ushered into a moving train

Everyone is meant to be walking on the same pace
Before the clouds got broken and hell fell loose
Upon every heart unguided under heaven
The creation and purpose of life forsaken
