A BETTER WORLD

I could not have thought
The world to be filled with hate
But why does suicidal thought
Creep into the human heart

Every time I turn on the news
Despair, conflicts are on the increase
I see war, famine and diseases
I see seria killings, rapped victims

Teenagers callous to the detest of abortion
Leaders blinded to greed and corruption
Youth lure to drugs, lure to cultism
Human trafficking also symnonimous

I do not know of anyone not guilty of something
We may pretend living a life of truth
Yet hide beneath the wrong choices we have made
With conscience piled up like a washed up sand

For once, can you appeal that we are at fault?
Open our heart, let the sun light up the cloud
Let hope arise and wipe away the darkness in ourlives
Let negative feelings cracked and give birth to a new life

To show that we can love one another
And not be judged for a crime of being humane
If the world should come to an abrupt end
Can you vouch the conscience is aright?
