TAKE ME ON A RIDE

Take me on a ride; please don’t live me by the side

I want to journey with you all the way through

Through thick and thin, I want to ride with you

It doesn't matter how long the journey takes

I want to tag along irrespective if the road is good and smooth

Or it’s going to be rough treading on a bumpy ride

Watching the suns set far up a mile

We are going to ride together through the desert and storm

The weather isn't going to slow us down

The bridges all through we are going to climb

On the road we journey, with the radio playing our favorite tune

You and I singing along and sipping of a joyful and exciting day

As God's grace leads ahead the way to victory night and day

CANDLES IN MY HEART

I lite candles in my heart

Each to show how much I treasure you

If you want to run away, I will run away with you

If for a reason you are feeling blue

My bosom will always be there for you

When you are lonely I will be there to hug

And hold you till you feel brand new

When you are sad, I will lend you my shoulder to rely on

If at night you can't sleep, I will sing you a lullaby

If the world is dark all around you

I will light a smile to make your day beautiful

If you're cold at night, I will be your blanket to keep you warm

If the sky in your life is out of reach

I will fetch a bucket of stars for your wish to come true

I want to leave memories of me forever in your heart

Until you draw the last breath of life, I will be a part

For you I lite a billion candles in my heart

So I will never ever be far away from you if that's alright

I REALIZED

I realized that no one can fulfill my dreams

Alone I walked through the cold breeze in September

Searching for a path that lead the way home

No man can see the burden I carry deep down my heart

When the sea was stormy and I had to sail alone in the dark

The anchor I bear is hope and a piece of love I got from mom

I laid on the bare floor without a pillow or a blanket

Dreaming all through the night searching for love

A heart that understands the journey of a lonely sailor

All my life I held on to the lamp burning inside my heart

For I have made up my mind never to allow anything weigh me down

Today, I realized that a journey of a thousand mile starts from where I stood

All I need is to believe in me and the things in life that are worth fighting for

And anchor pieces of a memorable life filled with love this day and an everlasting smile
