The life of a man is like a big book
Each seconds is like a letter
Each minute a word
Each hour a phrase
Each day a sentence
Each week a paragraph
Each month a page
Each year a chapter
His days are full of sorrow and joy
Of progress and setbacks
Sometimes he laughs
And other times he cries
But life never tells us the reason why
Yesterday he got delivered of a baby boy
What a great joy filled his life
And just this morning, he lost his job
He won a multimillion dollar contract two weeks ago
And lost his mom the week after
He got his masters degree three months ago
And got demoted for something he knew nothing about a month after
Last year he went on a honeymoon overseas with his wife
And this year she divorced him for not being man enough
Like a book a reader never knows when it's going to end
Until he reads it to the end
So is the life of a man
He never knows where he will end his life
Knows now what tomorrow holds for him
Until the end of his life
But like the author of a book
Who knows where and how the books ends
So also is our God who knows our future
And is able to bring us to an unexpected end
So why worry?
