It was just like a dream when we heard you are gone
You were selfless and undoubtfully a king among kings
Every breath you took was to liberate the wellbeing of a brother
The tears you shared and the will you fought for
Are not in vain, you left us the zeal to fight on
The zeal to fight for equality for all sundry
Your glory touches the sky as heaven glorifies with you
In everyman's heart there is a whisper of your retribution and strive
to mankind
You fought for the weak and the oppressed
You are a true leader, a visionary with great perspective.
Your courage and achievements will forever be remembered
And your name will be written on the tomb stone of our very hearts
Your spirit will continue to live with us and fight for the less
privileged
The world is so big but you are bigger than life itself
You will be celebrated on earth and in our heart
Farewell our son, brother, father, grandfather and great leader
We thank you for your selfless services to humanity
You can be rest assured that what you lived and fought for will not be
forgotten
We love you; we regret and wish we can do more than extol your name
Because someone like you are rare and are never found common
May your soul rest in perfect peace Nelson Mandela
